Last week in the Hot Seat was the funny, talented, photographer/cook/tight-wearing blogger, Yuliya of She Suggests. I believe there was an attempt to see if she would ever run out of witty things to say and it almost, almost worked but she still delivered. Here are the answers to all of your burning questions…

Thank you for having me here!
This was so much harder than I thought it would be. It’s like the light and music on “who wants to be a millionaire” that render you unable to remember the most basic of things…what country is located between Canada and Mexico…I don’t know, I’m foreign leave me alone! Also I found it hysterical that at least four people asked about those tights! (Point of reference here)
What was your favorite thing about UCD? Least fave? {Go Aggs!} (@galitbreen)
Besides meeting my husband my fave thing was being 18, what I wouldn’t give to feel that freedom again #firstworldwhine Least favorite? Being one of three pedestrians and feeling like Pac-Man must with thirty thousand crazy bikers gunning for you. (And no I still don’t know how to ride a bike, I’m scarred for life.)
Will you force Aliza to take a photo wearing nothing but a button-down blouse and tights when she’s older, just for sentimentality’s sake? (@bellebeandog)
I actually had plans to recreate all kinds of silly childhood photos, but Aliza seems impenetrable to bribes (so far).
You say that you’re a novice cook. What is best & worst dish? (@JackieCross)
That I make? My eggs, I make kick ass eggs. Worst? Husband very quickly volunteered this answer, I once made a paella type dish but was out of white wine and substituted champagne, SWEET champagne! I made it to impress his co-workers who we were having over for the very first time and oddly have never had over again. Those poor people thought it was some kind of ethnic dish and awkwardly ate it without saying a word. #cookingfail
Your favorite drink at the bar (so I know what to buy you when we go for drinks)? (@mytimeasmom)

Now that you have determined that tights are not in fact pants, what is your go-to outfits for daily mommying and for a hot night on the town?(@sellabitmum)
Tracy should know better than anyone that a trendsetter I am not. (I’ve totally emailed her for help on what constitutes as “matching” outfits for my baby) I will confess that I just don’t put a lot of effort into what I wear on the daily. And if we could just go ahead and vote on a mom uniform already and quit trying to outdo each other I would be a happy sweat-pants clad camper! As for a “hot night”? The answer is obviously shorter sweat pants.
There’s a sale and it’s a one day sale at two different stores!
The stores are located on different sides of the city. (I have no freakin’ idea how big your city is but I’m imagining its uber huge) You can only make it to one store.
You can get the super cheap on sale but usually sooo expensive tights OR you can get the super cheap on sale but usually so expensive camera. WHAT sale do you go to? (@multitaskmumma)
Shopping and me? Do not mix. Sale or no sale I prefer to stay home, futz around in the kitchen (ruining perfectly good paella) or maybe take a nap….mmm nap…And as for clothes vs. camera, the clothes NEVER stand a chance!

Yulia, I want to know your most embarrassing word confusion – you know – Russian to English. Like have you ever said “Fart” when you meant to say “Part?” (@mommakiss)
The mispronunciation of the word “beach” is always embarrassing for me…but my favorite “lost in translation” moment is my dad’s. He was working on writing out a menu for a restaurant and in Russian the name for appetizers is something you have between courses, as in salad then cold appetizers, then hot appetizers; when he translated from Russian to English he ended up writing that the restaurant serves “HOT INTERCOURSES” (Snort!)

Since blogging is obviously an enrichment and brain boosting activity it does NOT count as wasting time, I would have to say TV! I love TV! I miss TV! Just five more minutes mom please!
