Life is not measured by the breaths you take but the moments that take your breath away.
I remember reading this quote to Mark when we were dating and falling into mushy-love.
I’m not sure if he was interested in my love for writing and words at the time but he feigned interest like any good boyfriend would.
In my sappy, twenty-something year-old world, I let my mind drift to the possibility of marrying this great guy and imagined our first kiss.
I dreamt of this moment, when he took my hands, wrapped them behind his back and kissed me as his wife…
taking my breath away.
