The Gift Idea

I had big goals for today.

It is my husband’s birthday and since I never have anything done ahead of time I had to work on his birthday gift with three small children who are banned from most shopping malls in tow.

Putting my hours on Pinterest to good use, I picked a few cute photo ideas to try.

First there was the balloon shot,

but…

The sun was in her eyes.

He just thought I looked funny standing on a chair taking his picture.

And HE needed a pillow for his head, a stick in his hand and a nap.

But then I struck thank-goodness-I-don’t-have-to-drag-them-into-a-store gold with this idea:

we love you feet

Barefoot in the grass with me drawing on their feet with marker? Yes please. (The only one who said no thank you was the teen. Hmph.)

Happy Birthday to an amazing husband and father.

I hope that you feel as loved as you are.
