I have always loved words. I have a quote addiction that is fairly noticeable to anyone who follows me on Pinterest. But even before Pinterest I was a quote junkie. With stars in my eyes, I would send my soon-to-be husband quotes at the end of our emails and even if he didn’t share my love of mushy quotes he never said it and ultimately we did marry so I secretly think the quotes are what reeled him in.
I thought I would spend this Valentine’s Day reviewing our life together in quotes.
Beginning with dating
and then marriage
and then when the triplets came.
And then today, trying to remember the last time we’ve completed a conversation, vowing on occasional date nights that we can discuss something other than our children and pep-talking ourselves into thinking we are not actually getting older.
Of course what will follow today is someday, when we will have more than enough time to finish sentences and I will still be on my never-ending quest for the perfect quote. I may read him this and he may not hear me but that’s okay because he will have known all along.

I’m a huge fan if quotes.
These a beautiful. And my husband and I are right in the middle of the spelling stage.
I used to love quotes too. I have one posted on my fridge right now that I found in Real Simple magazine but I do not seek them out like I used to. You reminded me that I need to… And this is a great post to show the stages of love…

What a super, SUPER idea Jessica. Loved reading about your marriage in quotes. In fact, re-pinning quotes on Pinterest is one of my favorite “pinterest-y” things to do. LOL. Next year maybe you should consider turning this into a Meme???

Oh, the last one. Take away the “owing” and things work the way they’re supposed to. I adore that sentiment!
