It seems all members of my household are on some sort of never ending Crazybus ride.
Let me give you a few “heard around our house this week” quotes to illustrate:
Setting 1: Changing Sawyer on main floor, the Crazies are upstairs and quiet.
Me- Guys… what are you doing? (If you don’t know it is better not to ask. Apparently I have not learned this lesson.)
McKenna- Parker is putting his leg in the toilet and I am flushing. He is not going down.
Setting 2: All three of the little ones are playing with their train table, I’m cleaning up the mine field around them which has left me with my back to them for several minutes. The eyes in the back of my head were closed as well…
Parker- Choo Woo, everyone go around the poo. Choo Woo.
Me- WHAT?? Did someone poop ON the train table.
McKenna- No, Parker pooped on the train TRACK.
Parker- Choo Woo.
Setting 3: Just finished dropping off Ashlyn to drive with her grandma for a weekend with her dad’s family. She was a tad on the mouthy/cranky/you-screwed-with-my-schedule side during the drive. Parker began his turn at whining two seconds after the teenage whining exited the car.
McKenna- Parker you have to be nice.
Parker- No I don’t.
McKenna- Yes you do or Mommy will stop and give you to another car just like she did to Sissy.
(Not a bad business idea huh? Kids getting cranky, whining, making your ears ring in the car? No problem, call a minivan nanny who will promptly pick up your children at the site of your impending nervous breakdown and take them to your next destination, giving you time to drive in peace and maybe even listen to your own radio station.)
Wondering who is the driver of our Crazybus?
See for yourself.
No need to worry about toys made in China. Fruit is cheap labor.
Banana lost his job yesterday. Grape was hired today.
I was thinking of serving applesauce tomorrow but may have to change my plan.
And yes, that picture of Ms. Fashion Plate should be in black and white to shelter your eyes from her clothing selections but I felt it added to the whole “Crazybus” theme.
Before I go I have to take a minute to thank some very thoughtful ladies. I was given three, yes three, awards this week and a gift.
This…
from Jennifer at Midwest Momments and from Finding My New Normal
and this…
from MJ at Everyone Knows Me Here.
Why, on earth, would anyone thing I need a martini????
Last, but certainly not least, a very talented woman I just met, thought of my family and made this.
Beautiful isn’t it? The symbolism within it makes me want to just stare at it all day. Kim is not a blogger but a very talented designer with a big heart, you can visit her company facebook page here.
Happy Saturday!

I'm still laughing…my god that was to funny.
Debi says
I don't know why she'd think you needed a martini, I would have just handed you the bottle of gin! LOL On our own crazy bus here too. Apparently good behavior is so difficult that once it is all used up, the crzies not only come out, they are exponential as there is nothing left to mediate the behavior. I did laugh at the toilet flushing in particular, mine at the moment are still more interested in the sink, which has its own attendant problems.
jessica says
Eeek, good luck with the sink, although not as gross as the toilet, there
are all kinds of possibilities with that one!

You missed a golden opportunity by not photographing the poo! Think of the bribery potential for later years!

I really need a minivan nanny! My girls have been known to go nuts in the car, and I have had to pull over because they are screaming or crying or whatever. Congrats on the awards! 🙂

Is it a bad sign that I laughed hardest at the poop on the track part?? I guess it shows my current level of maturity. Hope you made your hubby clean that up!
