I was looking through my photos and there seems to be a bit of child labor going on around here…
they grocery shop,
they dress each other,
they even fill pot holes.
So where is their mother?
Well she is certainly not texting, tweeting, emailing or blogging if THAT is what you were thinking.

Hilarious! The same scenario can be found around these parts. I recently wrote about child labor in my house. I left out the part about me tweeting in the next room. : )
Someone needs to keep up the house if we are going to tweet, right?
Well, you must be about the smartest mom I know! Get them to take care of everything, so you can have more time for the fun!!
These pics are so cute…
This is hysterical. Love the pics!!!
Very disconcerting… Wait, what kind of phone do you have?
Ha! This is really cute. I have those kind of pictures too. Kimber is often caught cooking and cleaning on camera in my house. So glad I found your blog. Your strength is an inspiration.
Cute photos.
As you know, I tweet and read blogs and check Facebook, etc. all day long! Lucas is almost as addicted to my iPhone as I am. I have bought him some toddler apps that he LOVES.
LOL! I NEVER do that either….
That is a great picture. I am assuming your husband took it as proof of something?
Seriously isn’t that the reason why I had so many!!?? lol I may never had to lift a finger ever again
Ha ha ha. Whenever I ask my kids to do something that is of course WAY out there (s/a hang their jackets), I get the schpeil on what a slave driver I am and how they do all the work around here. Somewhat imbalanced view I think!
Bwahahahahaha!
What wonderful helpers you have!
ROFL! Too cute. I’m a firm believer in child labor ๐
I love it! I’ve never done anything like this. Ever. I’m always constantly paying attention to my kids. It’s not like I have pictures of them climbing on desks behind my back, on top of the counter or anything like that. ๐
Looks to me as if you are doing everything right? lol
Bahaha! Hilarious!! Love it!
LOL Classic! I love it! My husband says the whole reason to have kids is free labor.
Isn’t child labor the reason to have kids? I mean, that’s why I’ve been building tiny cubicles filled with industrial equipment in preparation.
This is hilarious!!
HA! Love it. My daughter always yells at me, “Mooommy! Stop playing with your phone!” Makes me feel guilty. But if I put the phone down, I inevitably pick it up a few minutes later. Darn you, Twitter, Facebook, & blogs!
DITTO!!!
Cute pics, Jessica!
Oh, this is hilarious!! This is so me sometimes!! Love it. I’ve visited before and love your blog, I am now a follower!
Man, the road work photo is AWESOME! Love these and the child labor “angle”!
Ha! I love the little grocery cart! I wish we had those up in my little neck of the woods, which I like to call Podunkville. If the Meijer by us had those, I’m certain my shopping experience with my boys would be much smoother.
LOL I’m not doing that either…really I’m not!
I bet filling potholes was the highlight of their day too. No joke. Kids love dirt
I C A N N O T relate to this one bit!!!
NOPE. NEVER. NOT ONE BIT. ha ha ~LOL!
Oh, by the way your kids are so adorable ~the grocery cart picture is cute!!!
Teach them early, it’s preparing them for life.
I’m not doing any of those things either. I swear. I’m not. Promise. Honest. Pinky swear.
Haha! We also have “try to change their own diapers” over here. Just this afternoon we came back from a walk and Gabrielle went for the snow shovel, and when I tried to take it away she screamed “more shovel, more shovel!” And the other day she saw me clean something with a Lysol wipe, and an hour later she had grabbed the can off the counter and was cleaning the floor and the windows.
Love this, lol. Can’t wait til mine is old enough for child labor, haha.
This was too cute… so glad I found your blog… my children are too lazy to even think about child labor…. sucks for me! ๐ lol
My 15mo daughter has just learned to wipe things off the floor. It is AWESOME. Now whenever she spills milk out of her sippy cup, I hand her a tissue, point to the spill and she gets down on her knees and wipes it up. It is moments like those when I feel like both the smartest mother ever and the wicked stepmother from Cinderella.
Hahaha…my daughter has been saying lately that I am addicted to my iPhone. I always try to put the kids to work so I can NOT spend time on my phone.
