Hi. Just stopping in from WW. Not sure why your title stood out to me but I am so glad it did! My oldest son also has autism and our daughter was born at 27 weeks. She was 2lbs 1 oz and we were told during our pregnancy to terminate due to complications. It is truly a miracle that she is here and healthy! (Feel free to stop by and read her story on my blog. It is way too long to put here!) And although I didn’t lose her, I too consider her brother after her my rainbow baby. He was not planned or expected, but brought with him a breath of fresh air and beauty that helped bring closure to our experience with our daughter.
I look foward to following your blog and reading more about your little miracles!
I think yours is pretty good but I know I’m supposed to be the expert on these things so….
“Please set up some interviews for a new driver. I’m looking for a go-getting attitude, some enthusiasm and someone who can go faster than one mile an hour. While you’re at, check into some new cars. This plastic manual wagon train isn’t doing me any favors.”
Well, if Sawyer were portraying our backseat it would be “turn Thomas up, I can’t hear it, I’ll have a hand-e-burger, chicken nuggets, milkshake with a cherry on top and a smoooothie” – even when we’re not remotely close to a McDonald’s. I love that wagon you have. All the little compartments for each kid. Genius!
“Hand-e-burger” that is so cute! Here we have the same convo every time “Do you want a cheesburger?” “No, I want a hamburger with cheese.”
Glad I’m not the only one that frequents drive-thrus.
If it is anything like the voice from my backseat…..”large double-double, box of 10 assorted Timbits”
is it sad that my 4 year old knows how I take my coffee at the drive thru?
“Hey Zoe, this is your wee man Sawyer. I’ve programmed my McKenna 3000 GPS for your house. If I can get Parker off the roof, we’ll be by to pick you and your brothers up for another fast and furious play date”.
