We thought we were done after the triplets.
Years of fertility treatments and a very complicated pregnancy had me convinced that we would not be able to have any more.
What I did not realize was that we could not possibly be done because we did not have a Youngest.
The baby of the family who thinks he is much older than he is.
Who dresses like he’s part of the team.
Shakes things up with the big kids.
Scores goals long after they’ve all melted down
and shows his two year-old side until he gets an award too,
even if it looks suspiciously like a manila envelope.

He he. Too cute. I want Dustyn to do soccer next year.
Clearly someone looks up to his brother and sisters with love and admiration. Sweet photos. ๐
Isn’t he fab. Well done to him for going for everything the others do.
OMG, that is adorable!!
How sweet is this post?!!
That is too adorable!! I remember taking my son to my husband’s baseball games and he thought he was a part of the team. Ok, he was like the cutest mascot ever.
those babes of yours are just way too cute!!
Love it! I loved being the youngest…yes, I was spoiled and annoyed my brothers, but darn I had fun getting them into trouble ๐ Love his award – A+ for creative parenting!
You guys are good parents. Manila envelope. That’s brilliant.
I love this! The picture with the “award” is priceless! So very cute ๐
Oh I love this. Love. Like big love. xoxo
He’s adorable!! Isn’t it funny how the youngest just seem to tag right along and keep up!
I’m so glad to be back to blogging and catching up with your blog! It looks like some changes have been going on and it looks beautiful! Congrats!!
So good to hear from you, glad you are blogging again, have to go read and see what you\’ve been up to.
My youngest is just like your son. He is 2 & wants to be on the soccer field playing just like his big brother. Very cute picture.
He’s awesome!
His award is way better than anyone else’s. In fact, he could put all of theirs inside LOL
They actually were inside ๐ as soon as he started throwing a fit I gave him the first thing that was remotely the same size as their certificates.
I love this! So so true about the youngest, isn’t it? So glad you got yours ๐
Oh so sweet! I’m glad you got your “youngest”. ๐
Thank you for sharing such a special time! Soccer is such a global sport, with no boundries and open to anyone that can move a ball with their feet. This was just great!
Thanks for stopping by to read Mike, we are definitely a soccer family!
Ah the youngest! They are definitely worth having, though my littlest brother is 18 & driving me nuts right now! ๐
That is an adorable, adorable award.
It’s clearly well deserved.
Oh my gosh, he’s adorable! How cute that he wants to be a part of the big kids!
You can\’t tell him any different. He definitely thinks he is one of the big kids.
Beautiful slice of life.
Such cuties!
Oh my. Such a big boy. And so sweet. I want to hug him!
Love it!!!!!
Love you!
Love you too Coach.
That’s how I felt after The Twins. We were blessed for sure, but we didn’t have a Small One. Now we do. Bliss.
Gorgeous, gorgeous pics.
I loved this pic of him holding up the envelope! So cute, he’s just in there with everyone else.
Adorable. ๐
He is so cute out there on the soccer field. Of course you had to have one more.
He is precious! His award was bigger!
This is making me laugh. He’s so sweet. And of course, it’s his ‘job’ to do all the things the ‘big’ kids do. Have fun and enjoy the time and before you can count to three, he’s really doing all these things.
I know, with him being the youngest I REALLY want it to go by slowly.
He is so cute! I remember when my son would do those things when his older sister played. Now that he plays too, I love to watch other little ones trying to kick the ball around.
He is just so adorable. He must love chasing after everyone and imitating them. Tweet me where you guys do soccer. I haven’t done it yet for Lanagan – but I should do something. Do they have it in the fall as well? Can he just play on your kids team so that we can talk on the sidelines?
Yes and yes, starts in August, I\’ll email you with the details.
He looks like such a little man! He is too adorable! I love all the pictures, especially how proud he is of his “manila envelope” certificate!
That is so cute!! Buster is often found in the outfield during Buddy’s games. No matter how many times I tell him he can’t go out there, he insists he’s playing too.
Since his is unique, in his mind that makes his the most special – cute and smart too ๐
envelope schmenvelope…to him it’s perfect!
I know, you could not tell him that envelope wasn\’t an award. I also was not allowed to talk to him, I think he thought I may blow his cover and tell people he was only 2.
