Before you read this I have to take a moment to say how truly humbled I am to be nominated as a Woman of Strength by the incomparable Nichole of In These Small Moments. If you have an extra second you can view her beautiful post here.
My blogoversary was two days ago.
I have been blogging for four years and have never celebrated the anniversary of the day I began blogging so apparently this year is no exception.
I began this blog when I was pregnant with the triplets and the promise of an uneventful pregnancy was quickly unraveling.
Thinking back to creating that first post, I remember typing with the hopes and dreams of three babies nestled under my heart and wishing with everything I had that they would all be okay.
Never could I have imagined the devastating twists or the glorious turnsΒ ahead of us.
Four years later and we are hanging on.
But we are better than hanging on,
we are hugging and squeezing and soaking up life.
Because long NICU stays and sleepless nights and missed blogoversaries aside,
loving the life in front of you
is the perfect way to cherish the life you are missing.

Happy blogoversary!
Sorry we didn’t get to meet at the PRSA event last night, but thanks for participating. It’s so important for PR pros to understand how to work with bloggers, and you and the others definitely provided some good insight to those in the room who don’t have experience working with bloggers.
