One week left of Daddy on vacation and we are soaking up the lazy mornings, extra set of hands at mealtime and the million chances I have had to drive the car rather than my day care on wheels.
So as his vacation comes to a close we are skimping on the naps and packing in as many activities as we can.
Can you guess where Sawyer has been?
I am SO borrowing these when he is done.

Love it when Daddy is home to help out! I’m gonna have to see where you can get some of those headphones! They sure would come in handy during trips to those sensory overload places that are nightmares for kids on the spectrum. And if they don’t work for him, they’ll work for me!

Noise canceling headphones would have come in VERY handy today. Lucas and I had a very trying day. Daddy spent the day at the beach with friends and that would have been fine if Lucas had napped in the middle of the day like he usually does, but instead he got into all kinds of trouble, made mess after mess, after mess and was in more time outs than the whole week combined. In other words, he was just being 2. So glad tomorrow is a new day!
Ugh. Hope today is much better and if not I will fed ex you my headphones :).

My husband just started his 3-week vacation! Love that were are about to start some of our own family fun time! Off to Rolling Hills Water Park today in Ypsilinti, MI? Ever been there? It’s a great water park for younger kids!

he’s so darn cute! 🙂 we’re going to take advantage of Hubs wanting us out of the house (he’s birthday shopping! WOOT!) by spending the day with my parents, sister, BIL & niece and go out to my gramma’s to use the pool! 🙂
I would use those noise-cancelling headphones when Goose is in timeout or throwing temper tantrums 😉 or I’d put them on Goose when the neighbor kids are blasting their music and playing street ball outside her window in the late/early hours – punks.
So cute! Despite going to bed late and getting up super early, Dylan is crazy and on full volume today. Noise cancelling headphones would be helpful right about now 🙂
