There is a time to slow down,
to leave the phone in the car,
forget about nap time
and put more berries in your belly
than you put in your basket.
And there is a time to speed up, like when you are walking through an endless field
and someone is doing the potty dance.

We went to Blakes, it was great, if you go with a group they take you on a train ride out to the orchards.
JDaniel has declared he never needs to potty unless it is bedtime and he doesn’t want to sleep. I would love the potty dance.
My son does that too, I much prefer the potty dance :).

Jealous. I love picking strawberries. No one else in my family will eat strawberries. It’s such a bummer. And don’t they always have to go at the worst times?
Mine love strawberries, it\’s all they want to eat. You can come with us next time, two moms to divide and conquer at potty time would have been great ;).

Oh we were running, too bad we had to run, very, very far. Although if it were my son he would have just peed while picking berries so I\’m lucky she will do the potty dance and give me a warning.

Had a friend who always kept a little potty in a bag with a load of grocery bags. She would pop one over, have them pee, tie it up and be done. We LOVED her.
She also kept a rail of clothes in the back of her suv – she was very anal (and it wasn’t ME!)

I wanted to take the kids strawberry picking this year but sadly time got away from me.
If you\’re up for a long drive, you can still go at the farms near us. Definitely taking the kids again, they liked it even more than I thought they would.

I keep wanting to go berry-picking but we just haven’t made the time.
That was my first time taking the little ones and it was great, we will definitely be doing it again.
We’ve been doing some blackcurrant picking in Ireland, and finally made jam yesterday. It was great fun. We look forward to it every year XXX

Oh it\’s fun alright although it is much better to see a potty dance than a wet pair of pants.
