The kids have been begging me to have a lemonade stand. There is just one problem.
Did you see that tumbleweed go by? That’s the average amount of activity we get on our little country road. Being optimistic and dreamy little 4 and 5 year-olds they all had the “if we build it they will come” vision. Being the realistic mom, I had the “I will build it, make everything and no one will come” vision.
Thank goodness for these free printables from TomKat. Instead off all kinds of prep work, I just printed off everything we needed and then added lemonade and some International Delight Iced Coffee and we were set to go, or at least pretend we were going.
Luckily we have enough kids that they were happy to be their own customers and when that got old we recruited our favorite and possibly the only kids within a mile to be our customers who don’t have to pay but get lemonade anyway.
And, of course, I couldn’t pass up the chance to let them serve me an iced coffee. I loved watching the concentration on their little faces as they poured drinks and recommended a straw color that would make my drink taste the bestest.
If you’re debating on letting the kids host a lemonade stand soon you must head over and get your free printables and ideas for making the perfect summer lemonade stand. Make sure you add in some International Delight Iced Coffee for the adults. I tried the mocha flavor and it was perfect for a hot day when you still need your caffeine but aren’t up for a hot drink. International Delight is hosting an #icedcoffeelove summer contest and the Grand Prize Winner will receive a Summer Cool Down pack with a cooler for ID, tumblers, and a $200 Visa gift card to visit the water park of their choice. Three runners up will receive free Iced Coffee.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of International Delight. The opinions and text are all mine.
